Pressler's Meats — Local services in Springfield Township

I am sorry to say but this really deserves zero stars. I bought 8 whole chickens today and all were rotten. We all know what bad chicken smells like. Well I threw up in my mouth. I return the carcass. The gentleman was polite and offered 8 replacement. I asked for a refund. He was very concerned with his bank not able to do this. Well amazingly the did. He gave a, and I quote, " Sorry Man.". I have to sanitize my entire kitchen and refrigerator and that's it. Not happy. No offer to make things right. He has no concern that he was selling rotten chicken to the people in my community. Please beware of any "Specials" that they have. 1.Good place to get the meat you need for all of your dishes .. 2. You could use their products to supply a restaurant,, mid to top end quality meats 3. I personally respect the fact that they only sell what they produce ,where some meat market's will offer seafood but dont actually butcher the seafood basically, not fresh 4. Though i really like the meats finding beef products to be some what pricey 5. The ground beef .. is ok... but could use some improvement but much better than others 6. The sausage that they make is Absolutely Phenomenal! From hot dogs to Slovenian really WoW 7.dont waist you're time with the freezer item's go to save a lot 8.custom butchering. . Raise your own and have them do...

On the butcher side of things. I brought in a few hogs since my normal butcher was booked. Presslers told me they were fully inspected USDA. I am a business and sell my cuts, they knew this. Turns out they are not usda, and I could sell nothing from my hogs. Complete waste of my pigs lives and all my hard earned work and money.

The cuts we did get were all in butcher paper, not vacuumed sealed, so I have to find a way to personally eat 4 whole hogs before they go bad... Which won't be long in butcher paper. Not happy.

Just a warning to others. They are not UDSA or even ODA... You cannot use this for anything other than personal...
