I’ve always heard great things about this place and have always wanted to stop. I live quite a ways north of Springfield but wanted to plan a trip, now I’m on the fence. I called looking for a certain plant not for myself but for someone else. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and I even had to ask if I was bothering her asking for further information. there was a gentleman I could hear answering my questions. Read moreThey had a variety of pumpkins and plants. Huge selection of them , however prices are a bit high. The little store with jams , honey , popcorn all of that stuff is way to small. It's very crowded and uncomfortable being in it. The baked good.....we bought a piece of carrot cake and a tiny banana bread loaf....nope and just no.Only think edible was the cream cheese frosting. The banana bread didn't taste like a banana at all and the carrot cake had black chunks in it which was fine until I took a bite and it was burnt walnuts. I would go back , just won't be buying the baked goods...

I enjoyed seeing the vast variety of pumpkins that they already had on hand. I used to spend much money at this store while decorating my yard for the seasons and for my gardens.
We got some cider (great!) to take home and a drink to enjoy while eating some of their fresh baked goods. We got fudge to take home, too. A must stop if you are in the area. It is 5 minutes from tge I-55 freeway. Lots of parking. Put it on your list of...
