Riverview Market — Local services in Springfield

I was very excited to use this establishment as our summer get together spot where we would be purchasing our road trip snacks and beverages. But unfortunately I am still learning to drive my boyfriends truck and was accused of purposely spitting rocks at the business. I also was accused of spitting rocks at a pedestrian that was no where to be seen. My friends we met up with and security cameras can attest to that as well. Unfortunately the owner felt the need to make a post about it on Facebook and threatening to get the police involved when nothing was done on purpose. By no means did I intend to spit up rocks nor do I recall doing so. I did apologize in case I did and did not notice. As I said prior I am learning to drive his truck. Much different from my sedan. Not only that the owner searched through my boyfriends Facebook page and took a screenshot of a post from over two years ago from when he first purchased his truck and posted it on the forum when he was not even the one behind the wheel. I see this establishment has very loyal customers and I am confused as to why we were treated so poorly. This was my first visit to this place as well. I would have gladly talked it out with the owner and let them know if anything was spit out from the tires it was not intentional and was an accident. But they decided to make up a lie of a pedestrian being hit and confront us based off of an assumption rather than communicating from the beginning. I was very excited to use this spot with summer fun but unfortunately will have to go to a more occupied chevron down the road who treats their customers...

This place is amazing!! Great owner amazing workers! And a great and safe place to meet up before an adventure cold beer hot food and friendly staff!! I was there one night a group of kids were meeting to go on a adventure and peeled out one buy one kicking rocks all the way into the building hitting a customer and those girls took care of business!!
