West Side Christian Church — Local services in Springfield

If you visit the website on Sunday morning you can watch the service online and the really nice part is a prayer request button where you can reach out to someone. I did this and it really helped me. By the way, they have some great support groups and I just learned of a men's study group where you really put your words into action. These smaller groups are where you really get to know others. Even though I am not a member and I don't attend church services, I do attend a support group at this church and I LOVE it! The people I have met here are great listeners and it has taught me to listen better too. I studied religion for my bachelors and they really know their Bible here. The cafe is opened for breakfast/lunch, M-Thursday 8-2, if you happen to be new to the area and want to "investigate", I recommend grabbing a coffee and just strolling around, or do what I did and reach out through the prayer request button and maybe see if you can chat in person with someone.
