I had a great experience with Dashboard Audio. I was having trouble installing a new radio in my truck, and Houston really came through. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire process. Not only did he install the radio, but he also fixed a communication issue with the truck’s computer that had me completely stumped. On top of that, he helped reassemble the dash and tidied up all the wiring. Everything looked and worked perfectly by the time he was done. I would definitely recommend Houston at Dashboard Audio for any automotive electronics work!

When you want to be treated like gum on the bottom of your shoe! Lady at the front desk is absolutely TERRIBLE! So hopefully your appointment is next Tuesday so you can gladly smile as you say, C U NEXT TUESDAY ! And walk away. Save yourself time and TERRIBLE customer service & find a better company to do business with. Owners or not you've got no business in customer service if you LACK the ability to provide the proper service to your PAYING customers 🙄!!!!

I had a great experience with Dashboard Audio. I was having trouble installing a new radio in my truck, and Houston really came through. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire process. Not only did he install the radio, but he also fixed a communication issue with the truck’s computer that had me completely stumped. On top of that, he helped reassemble the dash and tidied up all the wiring. Everything looked and worked perfectly by the time he was done. I dropped my car off on Thursday January 28th at 9am for them to see what was wrong with my radio- it was no longer turning on. at 11 am they called and said we needed a new radio and wiring. Ok that's fine. We get there at 11:30 and pick out a radio. They tell us to come back at 4pm and they would be done. We come back at 4pm and they are not done, they had just got done with the wiring because they had to bi-pass the factory amp. Again fine, whatever. 5pm comes around and now they tell us that they don't have a dash kit for my car and the guy doesn't want to hook up the radio without the dash kit. This is where I get frustrated and sit in the truck because why tear my car apart and have me pick out a radio if you don't have the dash kit. So we tell them we will buy the dash kit and bring it back up there when we have it and they can "pop it in real quick- 15, 20 minutes tops". While I'm in the truck they had the audacity to charge my husband 460$ for the radio, installation of the radio, and installation of the back up camera. The radio was sitting on my passenger's seat so nothing was installed at that point. I could understand charging for the radio, but not the installation. They had my car for 8 hours that day. Then, today (February 6th), we were told to bring my car back up after noon for the installation (remember the quick in and out 20 minutes top installation). We pulled in their parking lot at 12:30. We were told the guy doing the install would be back from lunch in 30 minutes. Ok that's fine, we go down the road to my husband's grandma's house for a little bit. We come back between 2:30-3pm because at this point my car had been there for 2-2.5 hours it should definitely be done right? Even after 30 more minutes of lunch that's basic math 30 minute lunch + 20 minutes tops for the install = not even an hour so it has to be done. NOPE. The car had sat there, untouched, the whole time. At this point we're mad. We had already paid them, and they're not doing what they said they were going to do. We get told they are very busy and backed up. That's when my husband asked, why have us come up here with the car in the first place if you were so busy. Don't have people sitting around all day for something they've already paid for. They said my car would be the next car they worked on. So once again we left and ran a few errands. When we got there at 5pm my car was still not done, but it wasn't in the parking lot so at least that meant it was being worked on. We sat there for another hour before the guy pulled it out of the shop and handed me the keys. So if you were keeping track, 8 hours they had my car the first day and 5.5 hours they had my car today, bringing it to a total of 13.5 hours and 2 days to install a radio and back-up camera on my car. And the woman at the front desk could stand to have a better attitude and roll her eyes less. Every time we were up there she made it seem like we were inconveniencing her by being there. What a way to make paying (or should I say already paid) customers feel. The shop is dirty and cluttered. Very unorganized and unprofessional business. I don't see how they have as many good reviews as they do unless they are from friends and family. When my husband was inside right before they closed another woman was in there complaining about how long it took them to do the work on her car. These people need to get...

My husband has had the same system installed in 2 different cars by these people.

The girl at the front desk needs a lesson in customer service. She is consistently rude and acts likes it is an inconvenience to do her job. She wrote the wrong time on the appointment card the for the most recent time we were there, and then had the nerve to be snarky when she called to tell us we were late. Had to bring the appointment card to show her and didn't even get an apology.

The first car we had the system put in we didn't even get a mile down the road before the system quit working. Immediately took it back and the wires had come loose from the battery terminal. Took them 2 hours to fix.

When they uninstalled the system from that car to put in our new truck, they destroyed the battery terminal, causing the car to die while we were driving home. They also messed up the outputs on the back to the head unit during the removal. Specifically told them several times we wanted to keep the old wires and a remote sensor, but they kept them anyway.

Fast forward to new truck. Dropped it off at 930 in the morning (had an appointment). Called at 430 to say it was finished. Get there to pick it up, the subs weren't even working, and dash was completely apart. Acted like it was a problem that we weren't happy with the way it sounded. Took an additional hour and a half to finish the job properly.

We will not be back, have had nothing but problems with them. Will be going to Pro Sound from now on, they are MUCH friendlier and do better...

I had a subwoofer and amp installed here. While the work was good quality and I like my setup in my car, who I presume to be the owner has been rude to me every time that i have interacted with them. The sub they installed for me was thumping while my car was off and I couldn’t figure out why so I went down there to have an appointment set up to have them look at it. The owner seemed insulted and acted like they didn’t care whether the equipment they installed in my car worked properly or not. Afterwards, something came up where I would have to be out of town on the day we agreed upon but when I called to get my appointment rescheduled, they never answered their phone after numerous attempts. I even left a voicemail for them but they never got back to me so I had to fix the problem my self. I had a sub installed in my old car at Best Buy year before last. Even though Best Buy is slightly more expensive, I would rather go there 100 times out of 100 because the person who installs them there is very friendly and knowledgeable about the topic and explains things about it to you while the person at dashboard expects you to know what everything in the store is and...
