What a pleasant surprise! Everyone is very friendly and nice.
They are open 24/7, so, you can check in and wait as early as you want. Of course, bring food if you are extra early just in case.
Check in: either two right lanes work. Pull up on the scale, go get checked in. The pu number is 118xxxx. BRING YOUR LICENSE.
Once checked in, proceed to Inspection Station... It's about 400 feet to the right of the gate. (don't be a swift driver... Turn right, immediately left and just straighten out to your right and back... Also open doors right after you checked in). Forget about the paperwork they gave, pnce the bulkheads are loaded, you get a green light. Pull out and go to your Left.... My advice close the doors if you are dead set on parking in the right number spot...
All the way to your left, at the very end is where you turn right and.... Well, you probably are looking for the right number to park at? Don't bother. Park... Tiny tiny spots... Maybe a foot between trucks if you park really in the center. Plus, if your doors of the guy next to you has doors open... It is unpleasant. Just park where you won't hit anyone, the yard guy already has your truck and trailer number... He isn't looking what spot your in - just your truck number.
The yard guy will come and get you. Go to the dock. On second green, pull out and go back to the gate.... Again, don't be a swift driver, pull off to the side aftrr you had made the right turn past where you were parked... Then secure, slide tandems and get in line.
My waiting time was about 20 min, loading took 20 min.... But the line to get out took about 40-60 min. You get what I'm saying? Someone always thinks it's clever to park right as they get out of the dock, holding up guys parking in the waiting area and those of us trying to get out... Don't... Swift...
Anyway, the scale ticket has axle weights. The girl checking you out needs you License and State where you are going. Also, she is...

Then the inbound line was around 20 trucks. Instead of a real quick and efficient 5 minute AB kiosk self check in your spend about 15 to 20 minutes Inside. Then next stop is a back into a trailer inspection dock. Another 20 minutes. AB used the cameras pointed into your trailer while your self checking in to take care of that . Another strike against Miller Coors. Then it’s off to the staging area for a nice 5 hour wait for a dock door. Once in the door it only took an hour to load. But the genius who loaded me took my load straps out of truck so I had to double back to dock to get them taken out to me. At checkin they have you place them in back of trailer . And last but not least another 20 truck , single lane, checkout prices. Add another 60 minutes on. Yard dog told me today was a “typical” day. Never again. Place goes on my DNR to list. And I won’t complain about my typical 3 hour total time at a AB ever again ! No overnight...
Read moreDo not trust the scales at this location! I told them that I don’t have an APU or EPU so I don’t qualify for the exemption of 400 pounds over on my drives, and they said I weighed 31,800 on my drives even though my build in scale said otherwise and they would not rework the load because they said they just had there’s calibrated in January even though this is the end of March and there scale said I was fine! Also said if I leave to go to a third party scale (CAT scale) they could not and would not rework the load if I left even though they weren’t doing it now! While I left and the third party scale verified my build in scale!
The drives were off by 2,700, steers were off by 1,600 and tandems were off by 720!
I think they need to re-calibrate there scales and maybe do it more often since they have you set your brakes on the scale which throws off the calibration the same as sliding your tandems on the scale!
Gave them three stars because they were at least polite...
