AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! In February the hinges on my laptop broke, must have bounced a bit too hard, new to the area I thought I’d drop it off at a local computer shop instead of big box repair.
I dropped my laptop off for a quote to repair, always get a quote first. Feb 7th I called but it hadn’t been looked at yet.
Feb 14th I called hadn’t been looked at yet (but guessed it would be around $200-so I told them to do it).
I called Feb 21st not ready yet, I called
Feb 28th and the hinge was replaced but, in the process, they cracked the screen so they would replace it at no cost. Annoying but okay.
March 7th replacement screen (1) ordered but didn’t work, another one ordered
March 14th still waiting for replacement part, should come Monday.
March 19th part just came today but waiting for “space on the bench” probably today or tomorrow
March 20th I called and they are waiting for room on the bench probably today or tomorrow.
March 24th I called them and was put on hold and forgotten about. Eventually spoke with the guy doing the repair, another bad screen (2). They either source their parts very poorly or I don’t even know.
April 2nd I called them and they are still waiting for the replacement screen
April 18th I called them, and they said it was ready, I went to pay my $226 and found that the touch screen didn’t work, they said they would reach out to the owner and call me back. They believe there was something wrong with the motherboard.
May 9th I decided to go pick up my computer because I heard nothing from them, get there and learned my computer was just sent out to New York supposedly the owner took over, but I never hear anything from them. They never communicated anything any step of the way, I blew up at the guy after that many days, I just wanted to be kept in the loop and communicated with, they never called me once during this whole time to give me status, it was always me calling them. I felt bad for the guy and I don’t like getting that mad but just communicate with me and I would have been understanding.
Eventually my laptop came back and they took my password off my laptop and apparently wrecked something else on it because my Microsoft office suite which I have access to from my employer wasn’t working correctly.
I took my laptop to my employer’s IT department and it’s not longer able to work on my laptop because something with the security has been damaged. I will never use this place again. I would recommend avoiding it at all costs!!!

Read moreI have an older laptop, 7 years ago I purchased it brand new, that I dropped about 5 years ago. It has been tough to get the money set aside to fix it, as I knew it would be expensive since it's a touchscreen and high-er end (not gaming) laptop. Once I started my business, I knew I'd need to have it fixed to be able to have a more organized place to do business than my phone and a notebook. I grit my teeth as I dropped it off to Don and the guys. After 3 days I followed up and they found some things that needed to be replaced because of the fall. I didn't question that at all since it was a pretty dramatic, high impact fall on the corner of it that shattered the entire screen. They kept me in the loop of what was being done and did the repairs quicker than I anticipated.
Now, once I got it back, I couldn't use the keyboard or mouse pad at all. I called them up and they had me bring it in. I was frustrated since I did say to just fix whatever it was that was wrong. After spending some time with Don, we realized it was not their fault, it WAS working when he had it in safe mode, but something was going on with it internally. He kept it overnight, since it was closing time already, and worked on it the entire next day...not even joking, he went through everything that he needed to do and it was all day. When I finally went to pick it up the next day, he made sure to get it up and running to show me that it is indeed fine now and explained what he did. As with anything I seem to get my hands on, it was not user error or technician error, it was just my machine.
In hindsight, would I do this again? Absolutely.
I truly appreciate the work that was done, the explanations, and the patience when I was about to lose it because I couldn't use my laptop as soon as I got it back. Once I realized it was not their fault, it was something going on with my machine that was essentially "hidden", for lack of better wording on my part, it made me feel a bit better. But knowing it had stumped them too for a bit, also made me feel better too, ha.

If I can give zero stars I would. Brought my lap top in to get the screen fixed and got a call that it was ready 2 weeks later. Well the screen would not allow me to type on it (it is a touch screen) the screen kept glitching and my key board was jumping back and forth touching letters even though no one was touching them. I brought it back the next day, and the guy stated it could be a bad wire hook up and took it back in. Two weeks pass and I did not get a call so I decided to call. He stated that it was not to screen (which was not true me and the other employee witness the glitching and he even put it in the notes) he claimed the problem was someone put a windows 11 upgrade on it and did not wipe it first and do it correct. Which is not true I have never put a new upgrade on this laptop and every time it asked me to I was hit “remind me later” because I was in the middle of an assignment. now my computer starts up but will not go pass a black screen. I paid $210 dollars for them to fix one problem and they made another. Then tried to make me charge me $150 to “wipe it clean” so he can put windows 11 on it. Also stated in the notes he did a bunch of upgrades on my computer because it was “severely outdated” then told me in person someone is did. DO NOT GO TO THEM. They are money hungry and lazy.
