As a collector myself, i genuinely enjoy my time in this store. The owners clearly take great care in stocking as wide a range of inventory as possible. Transformers, GI Joe, Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Mcfarlane, NECA, Mezco, Mafex, SH Figuarts, Diamond Gallery & Selects, Funko, Wrestling, Jurassic Park/World, just a ton of properties and brands. They have figures and stuff from your childhood whether you grew up in the 80s, 90s, or after 2000.
Saturday Morning Toys is the sister store of the gem of Camden County, Camden Battlegrounds, and it is so great to have a local option for collectibles when I can't necessarily squeeze in the commute to Jacksonville or Savannah. While Battlegrounds is the best place in town for trading card games (Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, Union Arena), Warhammer 40K/Age of Sigmar, video games, and comics, Saturday Morning Toys is the best place in town for toys, figures, sports cards, die-cast, and collectibles.
Co-owners Lee and Nick are friendly and approachable and I can always count on good conversation about my favorite toy lines. Their prices are fair and reasonable and seem to be based competitively compared to prices at other stores or online. Since they are open to buying and trading, I have been able to get some really good deals on figures I'm looking for. My most recent was a Mezco One12 The Batman from the Pattinson movie. Trading in stuff I have that has been just sitting at home helps bring down in-store out-of-pocket cost.
If you're not close enough to visit the store in person, the owner told me they also sell on Facebook and Whatnot and ship worldwide. I wish they'd been open while I was living overseas, not all stores will ship to APO addresses. But it's good to know if I move, I'll still be able to shop from them or place pre-orders and they are...
Read moreWhen I heard this place opened I was excited to have a toy store right down from my house. Somewhere I could take my son to and relive my childhood with him. When I walked in it was like I was a kid again. The owner and his wife were very friendly and inviting. They had everything from vintage to modern and even things for my son. One of his favorite things he's gotten was a talking Super Mario toy. Since they have been opened I've been multiple times and they never disappointed. They always have something I'm looking for and if they don't them make a note of it and when they get it in they don't hesitate to give me a call. They have even gone out of their way to go find something I was looking for. Recently they had a sidewalk sale that my family and I attended and there were a lot a people out there selling toys. My son was so excited he was able to get some more Lego Minions for his Minion set. The community really came out and showed their support. I also have a couple of friends who don’t have a local toy store near them and because of this stores online presence they were able to get those toys they’ve been looking for in their hands. If you are looking for a wonderful toy store with all kinds of toys and collectibles or a just a place to come relive your childhood then Saturday Morning Toys is the...
Read moreStopped in to check out the selection of stuff for my boy who’s a big wwe nut.
The selection of stuff here ranging from all areas of collections was massive! We came to look at wwe and power rangers, but the array of stuff from Transformers, to Star Wars, marvel and dc, kind of a collectors dream store. Was awesome.
The owners were very interactive as well. And the biggest thing to note is, everything was competitively priced. Very competitively. And deals were offered the more we bought.
The friendliness, and environment was a fantastic experience. I will visit again if we are in the area for sure. I recommend anyone else visiting!!
Side note: my wife also found a very cool vintage stone cold Steve Austin shirt that she was...
