This is John J. A group of six of us from New York and Pennsylvania made the seven and a half hour drive to hunt with Corey and Dave January 30-31, 2024. Well worth the drive! Our overall experience was excellent! The guides' were very knowledgable, the equipment and accommodations were top notch. The first day we hunted diver ducks. Unfortunately, the weather was a little too nice! However, there were plenty of ducks flying, and Corey and Dave did a great job of coaxing enough ducks in to make it a very successful and memorable hunt. The joke of the day was, "You should have been here yesterday!" The second day we hunted sea ducks and had our limit of ducks. Bring plenty of shells. Sea ducks are tough! From start to finish, Talbot County Outfitters delivered an incredible experience. They put us on world-class whitetails and Sika deer, and the prep, scouting, and stand placement were dialed. The lodging was clean and comfortable, the food was excellent, and the camaraderie in camp made it feel like hunting with old friends. Special shoutout to Jim, whose guiding was top-notch—knowledgeable, patient, and laser-focused on getting us into deer. Corey and his team are some of the most professional individuals I've ever crossed paths with. The lodge is super clean and the food is always great!
