For what I understand students pay for tuition at this College, the dormitories have never been updated and no A/C in summer- they really suck! They are the type of dorms I remember from nearly four decades ago- the institutionalized look and feel. Campus buildings not so impressive. Grounds are kept up nice.

Do not go here. I repeat. Do not go here

I'm a pharmacist but did my undergrad here. The college experience and the tuition is not worth it! You can get in any graduate school no matter where you go to school!

After you finish you're gonna have a headache paying back your damn loans! Trust me! The counselors are bad, teaching is not that great, and it costs so much to learn the same damn things you can learn at a community college!

The financial aid office is impossible to reach once you graduate. All they care about is you paying back the money you owe them and it's impossible to consolidate all your loans as gustavus doesnt participate in it!!!!

This is coming from a biochem molecular bio major and pharmacist. Trust me guys look towards public or community. Your life will be easier...

My son is in the Class of 2016. He is having a fantastic experience in all areas including education, teaching, dorm life, and athletics. He came from California and was interested in a more rural or suburban experience in a college town, instead of the big city/big school experience. Also, he wanted a different climate, and despite the worst winter in 25 years, still appreciated Minnesota's four seasons. The school is well-run and our interactions with the administrators has been A+ between registration, accounting, etc. This is a great school that has great students, educators and...

My daughter is in the class of 2016. She was raised a city girl, but is not bored by the same college or small town of Saint Peter, and a 10 minute drive to Mankato, a 75 minute drive to Minneapolis. At Gustavus, she has received a quality education, opportunities to study abroad, learn in various community settings, and go beyond the campus. The campus has social activities, a dance club called the Dive, social events, and develop close relationships with her fellow students. Gustavus is a model of what is right with...
