[Edit]: I implore anyone considering this course to read other responses by the owner to other 1 star reviews and ask yourself if you want to support these egotistical people with your money. Instead of building a better business from criticism, they instead double down and make sure you know about how great they are. True professional and class to talk down on anyone that has a bad experience. As you read notice the amount of people that have similar experiences to myself. I myself understand that a customer can be a handful, however this place goes out of their way to harass people trying to play golf and create their own issues. If you’re looking for a good experience with friendly staff that look out for the people that keep their lights on, drive the extra 10 minutes east to Chisago Lakes, pay the couple extra bucks and save yourself from a mid experience at best and being harassed across the golf course at worst.

Do not golf here, went here on Memorial Day with some friends and the staff with on multiple occasions was rude and following us around as we golfed and telling our group we had to completely split up for no reason. We then had drones flying over our head the rest of our time on the course used to spy on us and harass us. Will not be wasting my money or recommending others for a subpar course that harasses their customers...

I was almost enticed by their $89 + $10 service and handling fee membership they were offering, but after playing the course with some friends a couple times each of the past few years it's obvious things are not getting better. The greens are hard sometimes (not consistent), the guy out there claims to be cleaning up the back side, but there are still trees blocking fairway shots. The course was built on a bog. There are plenty of average courses to play at a reasonable price. You get what you pay for and this course offers the quality equal to that of its yearly golf membership - $89. That makes it appealing, but after you play it you see why the membership is so low. As for the other review...not quite sure that person gets...

This course is 10/10. You absolutely can’t beat the price of membership and the drinks are cheaper than you could get on any other course.

We love the short course for a quick and easy round, but the full 18 is where it’s at! It’s beautiful, walkable and the red tees are very doable as a beginner.

John is amazing! My boyfriend and I have both taken lessons with him and he is a great teacher. He is knowledgeable, patient and great with both complete beginners (me) and intermediate golfers (my boyfriend). I guarantee that anyone who has a problem with John acts entitled and above the rules and is upset that they were called out on it.
