I have had it with the incompetence at this pharmacy!
I have been waiting almost three weeks for a prescription to be filled - going without medication the entire time. Yesterday I finally got a text that the prescription was filled and ready for pickup. Today I waited in line for 30 minutes and when I reached the window I was told it wasn't ready yet and is "scheduled to be filled tomorrow". I have been waiting weeks without medication! Moreover, you texted me that it was ready!
Another of my medications gets filled incorrectly every single month without fail, no matter how my doctor writes the prescription. Then I have to sit and wait up to an hour for them to fill it correctly. Meanwhile, I watch the employee do everything BUT fill my prescription - helping customers who arrived after me, counting inventory, joking with coworkers. Even though the error is their fault, they seem determined to make me wait as long as possible.
Plus, every time I run out of refills, they say they will contact my prescriber to authorize more, but they never actually contact anyone. I have had multiple prescribers over the years and all have confirmed that CVS does not ever contact them to authorize refills, leading to even more delays.
The worst part is that my health insurance will not allow me to fill prescriptions anywhere except CVS or Walgreens, so I am stuck with this complete lack of care....
Read moreHonestly the worst CVS experience we’ve ever had to endure. I preregistered my husband for a flu shot and COVID booster. We arrived on time for his appointment, and nobody was in line yet we waited 35 minutes. When my husband asked if he could get his flu shot, she said no, you have to sign up for it. What??? I completed the registration online at the same time and in the same form as the booster. He was in no mood to argue, and he knew he could go to Charlton, Sturbridge, or almost anywhere else and get it as a walk-in.
Meanwhile, I decided to shop the 50% off sale. I selected several items and brought them to the register . A customer waved me on to go in front of her in line. Apparently, she had waited almost two hours to get pictures printed and was still waiting for her salesperson to return. The salesperson was struggling to ring the items and told me my biggest find was not on sale, yet it was directly under the 50% off sign in an aisle that was filled with sale items. At this point we just wanted to cut our loses and get out of this CVS. The best part was after ringing up around ten items, the cashier asked me if I wanted a bag😆
In CVS’s defense, we’ve never been treated like this any other CVS and we’ve been to many, many stores.
By the way, the one star was for the sweet customer that allowed me to move in front of as she...
Read moreI've never had an issue with this pharmacy up until about 6 months ago. I'm not sure what happened, but the pharmacy doctor that was there for as long as I can remember seems to be no longer around. The new Dr. doesn't seem to be able to handle running a pharmacy and has absolutely zero people skills.
On three occasions I have tried to fill a perscription that my 6mo. old son desperately needs. Each time, they did not fill it, or it took 4 days to fill. When I asked (politely) if they stocked the medication and why it took so long to fill, I got a blank stare and a shrug from the pharmacist. The 2nd time I was told "it is too early", so I had the dr. send a new script. Still didn't get filled.
Only on this thrd (and last) time were we finally told it was an insurance issue. One 5 minute call to the ins. and dr for a PA and it was handeled. Something that affected my sons welbeing and health repeatedly could have been resolved the first time it happened with a 15 second phone call from CVS. When I brought up my complaint with the pharmacy dr. all I got was a shrug. No acknowledgement that there was a problem, and not a hint of an appology.
We have moved all of our scripts to Walgreens and will no longer be using CVS. I hope the previous pharmacist retired and moved on and didn't leave due to...
