UBsTech — Local services in Stafford

My Del Laptop (2017 model) computer had a dead battery that I was living with, but last SUNDAY, the Laptop's off/on switch failed. I opened the Laptop up, saw that the solder connections for the switch failed and the switch had broken right-off of the switch subassembly board.

I went on line, found UBs Tech on Google. It said that they were open for telephone calls on Sunday. I called UBs Tech, described my situation. Greg said bring the whole thing (opened up Laptop/power-supply et all) over as long as you get here by 5:00pm. I brought the opened-up Laptop over and left it.

Greg said he would source and order a replacement subassembly. I had him order a replacement battery as well. Greg texted me later that same Sunday night and said the parts were ordered and on the way. I picked everything up the following Saturday. (Opened up Laptop and parts.) I installed the the switch subassembly and new battery this Sunday morning, per Greg's instructions. He said that I seemed capable to to it, and it would save me money.
