If you are traveling eastern Iowa and need a pit stop, pass on this one.

I didn't stay long enough to take pictures of the whole store - just one of the bathroom. I had to use the restroom and so did my kiddos. So naturally I 'scouted it out' first - especially since my youngest sits to go - I was horrified.

There was dried urine all over the seat, leftover streaks of feces that had been wiped off but the remainder allowed to dry, untouched feces on the edge of the seat (see picture) among a Symphony of various stains, splatters and bits on the walls and floor. There was no active smell of feces or urine - telling me (along with the color of everything) it had been there quite awhile.

I looked under the sink for cleaning supplies- so I used the blue gel toilet cleaner on the seat so my kid could sit and not get stranger danger feces and urine all over her.

This is proof that eastern Iowa needs more health inspectors or at the very least proprietors that have even a MODICUM of pride or...
