Id leave negative stars if I could. I only put 5 stars so this can been seen first!!!! I called this guy today at AROUND 12:30. I asked him if he had a specific radio I was looking for, he did not have it but did have a better model of the same brand. I asked him a few questions and then told him id come by. I called again at around 1:00 to ask a few more questions and then asked him what time he closed as I was going to come get it. I asked him to set aside and would be on my way after I pick up my child from school. I drive almost an hour to his shop which is actually his house, I walk in and tell him I called about the specific radio. he tells me shortly after you called a man came in and bought it. I thought at first he was just giving me a hard time so replied really? with a smile, he says yes really. I almost lost it! I said man I called and asked you to hold it that I would be coming after I picked up my child, he says no you said probably. That is a lie! Why would I ask you to hold it and even further confirm when he closes if I was probably coming? he tells me well a guy had cash..... what????? as a business owner I hate people who do business like this with no integrity at all!!! the proper thing if you are unsure of a buyers intentions is one of two things, use the caller id that we all have to call and see if they are coming before you sell the item you promised to someone else or tell the current customer there that its been sold but check back later tomorrrow in case they didn't come, or simply say I don't hold. how would this walk in know if he had the radio if he in fact pulled it from the shelf and set it aside as he said he would do? If you are looking to do business with this guy be careful what you are told, I wouldn't believe him if he told me it was raining unless I walked out and got wet. I hope he responds to this. love to hear what he has to say. If he does he will stick to the I said "probably" thing or act like he hasn't seen me. Im here to tell you it's not true. the best thing he can do for his business is admit he did the wrong thing in this situation and try to salvage his reputation if he has one that his word is good. For me however it was a one shot deal, I will never ever do business with this guy. High Tech cb is my go too place for any cb work, they just don't carry the model I was wanting. this guy had a opportunity to gain a customer being a dealer of the brand I wanted, instead he has me leaving a review...
Read moreHad two of my radios repaired here and both are working great. I was told by another shop that I had toasted the finals in my 2995. I was told that they replaced the finals but when they tested the radio it burned out the finals again and they could not fix it. I dropped the radio off at D V Electronics and by the time I got home I received a phone call that the radio was repaired and ready to be picked up. The finals were not burned out and they had never replaced the finals because the screws still had the original factory liquid thread lock on them. It turned out that it was only a transistor that was burned out. Bottom line, If you are looking for an honest and very knowledgeable repair shop A V Electronics is the shop. Honest service at a...

The dog was also not marked in any way as a "service dog" Again I did not refuse service to him but asked him politely to put the dog outside to prevent any "accidents" to anyone else or items within...
