I remember in 1976 driving from Statesboro to the County Line Package Store. At the time 18 was the legal drinking age. Statesboro was a dry county for liquor at the time. We stopped and I went in the right side door. They had pool tables, pinball machines, beer and liquor by the glass and bottle and six pack beer sales, the bar was in the middle separating the two sides. The man at the bar nicely said I was on the wrong side.
