Got a quart of boiled peanuts this past Saturday 11-02-24. Couldn't figure out the odd taste and thought it might be some kind of spice. The more I ate the more the taste puzzled me until I nailed it. Those peanuts taste like warm plastic smells. Keeping peanuts hot in a hot liquid in a container inside of a plastic cooler could make perfect sense. HOWEVER, peanuts in hot liquid in direct contact with the inside of a plastic cooler is as close to stupid as you can get! I threw away $6.00 worth of peanuts.
