This was a nice stop on our way into Detroit Lake. It's a great site that offers views, fresh air and fishing. There weren't too many people there so it was a great opportunity to walk down the road of the dam and take in the entire scene.
There is a bathroom in the parking area, which is good to know. Yet, it was very unclean and there was garbage thrown about by it and on the other side of the barrier. I'm not sure of wind had anything to do with it, but it was very bad and disappointing.
