Eastbound Rest Area-Crystal Springs ND — Local services in Steele

It is a very basic rest area. It is smaller than the average rest area, with limited parking (especially for lorries). There are a couple of soda machines, but no snack machines. A nice rest stop in the middle of nowhere on the way to Bismarck from Carrington, ND... The restrooms were clean, well kept, and well supplied. I stopped there in the middle of a severe thunder storm with 60mph winds...after driving through golfball-sized hail. Quite a trip and a nice shelter...
