Would absolutely leave negative stars if possible. I have been getting oil from them since 2023 when I started renting the current property that I am at my wife called to set up our account and we were supposed to be set up to have our oil checked and filled every 6 weeks but jokes on us our account was never set up then we ran out mid winter with kids in the house so we called to get information as to why our oil had never been checked and topped off finally got our account set up and got it filled and eventually paid off then told them we need the check and fill every 6 weeks and still didn't get set up on that then without our knowledge or consent we were switched to paperless billing so we hadn't received a bill just to call and pay and get scheduled to fill again to find out that our account had been closed for non payment of a bill that we never received. I have never before done any sort of review in my 40 yrs but Linda the receptionist at SSC in Stephens City is unperfesenal, condescending and just rude. I needed a problem of being out of gas fixed and all she did was give me a run around instead of simply fixing my problem. It's not my problem you only have one driver, it's not my problem it's been a chilly winter and Ive used more gas this spring then in the past, and it sure as hell ain't my problem yhat after march you don't fill up tanks till summer. She said July/August. You need to offer your busy clientele a solution asap instead of a run around. A simple "oh, honey we will be out as soon as possible" is all I needed to hear. We will be finding a new gas company unfortunately due to Linda being so rude and unhelpful when all I want is my gas filled so my children and I can be warm. Freedom Ag & Energy states there could be 10 business days between when I call for fuel and when it is actually delivered. So, I have to guess my fuel use by the WX forecast over the next 10 days, based on their policy when I request a delivery. By the way, if it's cold, I use heat whether it's a business day or a weekend or a holiday. So 10 business days could easily turn into 14-15 days. Their dispatchers don't seem to understand this.
