Chicken House Flea Market — Local services in Stephenville

The giant inside of the flea market is probably the place you least likely want to go. Is he outside booths that are where it's at. There was no more food stalls inside. When I went there years ago there used to be a lot of food places inside now there aren't any. As usual lot of antiques were massively overpriced. And I found some of the signs offensive towards my children like dogs are welcome please leash your children. Other than that it was okay but the outside was much better the ice cream truck guy was there which was really cool. They do need to have a better person controlling people that drive through there. There's a certain area for customers to drive and then only vendors are allowed to drive on other areas. Now the vendors drive like animals! I have visited this flea market many times as a customer and even have set up a booth and sold items on occasion. This is a great flea market to shop as well as to sell. There are always great deals to be had and the vendors are very friendly. It is really an amazing flea market. I always enjoy my time there; either as a vendor or a customer. The new owners are terrific people and have been a part of this flea market for years. They will do a tremendous job I'm sure! I am an antique dealer who just experienced this flea market for the first and only time today. It was dismal, horrible! I don't usually even write reviews but just had to this time. We drove here because someone mentioned there was a flea market in Stephenville. There are a few booths inside and outside. They were mostly full of junk, but if I found anything it was priced too high.
