Maki Building Centers — Local services in Sterling

I'm a small company(contactor) owner. I do a lot of remodeling of homes and decks. If they have what i need, I buy it from Maki. Their prices are very competitive with big box stores but MUCH higher quality. They also offer pulling and delivery of materials for a VERY reasonable price that saves ke a lot of time and work/stress that otherwise would be on my back. Always extremely helpful and happy. Since I found them 3 years ago, I always go to them first then find whatever else I need IF they happen to not carry a particular item. If there were a zero star option I would write 50 reviews and leave them that. Joe S is absolutely the worst salesperson I've ever encountered. Emailed him 4 times for minor details as I'm building a home addition on my own, to zero response. The customer service is worse. The woman I spoke to on the phone today after they butchered my delivery date of a lumber item hung up on me. Do yourself a favor, do not engage with this trash company and find any other alternative for lumber purchase. Absolute garbage company. I root for local business, but this company would be far better if they fell by the way side and let someone competent...

This is a great local business. They have a wide range of items and equipment. The pricing here is very moderate compared to other competitors. It’s easy to go in and out quickly to save time. The store is spacious and very clean with a big parking lot.

The staff is so friendly, kind and extremely knowledgeable about the products being sold. Louise and her team went above and beyond to ensure I was ok when my car developed a fault after I had finished shopping.

You guys are the best!!!
