Rays Meat Market. What. An. Absolute. Experience. To be honest, my wife was a little sketched out at first whenever she saw that this joint was basically, what we thought, in his basement. However, we decided to get the courage to try something new, and we are glad we did. When you first walk in, a man, who I assume (and hope) was Ray, greeted us with open arms. I appreciate this, being someone who gets a little bit of anxiety going into new places. He talked to us about all his meats (yes that was meant to be funny) and showed them to us. He was very passionate about everything he sold, which made it seem like he cares. Our steaks were wonderful, and he was over the top friendly. I've been vacationing in Milbridge for years and can now thankfully call myself a landowner. I am blessed. Friends have been telling me years to stop by Ray's. I did last week just for a drink and snacks and hopefully some firewood. I was treated like family. Even though they had no wood for sale in the store yet, the manager (I assume Ray's son?
