Bobby and Danny Walsh are more than just competent boat brokers, they handled many other details I threw their way in the process of getting my boat sold. They had a contract on my boat in three weeks after we listed our boat with Grande Yachts. And we had a large boat, not an easy task to sell. We had it with another broker for over a year with only three showings total during that year. Bobby and Dan had three showings in two weeks! They are young, aggressive, extremely polite, competent and go the extra mile for whatever you ask them. We accidentally left the direct TV card in the device box and Bobby gladly went down to our marina and retrieved it for us. Bobby and Dan make a good brotherly"tag team". Dan was tied up with four sea trials and sales in one week and Bobby handled all the follow up details of the sale of our boat. And I must have made a million calls to Bobby to leave instructions for the new owner and where things were on the boat. Bobby never complained or became short tempered even when I knew I was calling too much. I am very detail oriented and he respected that. They were always responsive to phone calls and emails. When deciding whether to give the boat listing to Bobby and Dan, we checked with the marina where we have stored the boat on land for the winter for years. The service manager said "They move boats". Bosun’s Marine in Maryland absolutely sets the standard for what a boat dealership should be. I went to the Annapolis boat show in the fall of 2022, but had no intention of buying a new boat. I had given up on boat ownership because I was unable to get service for the engines on my last boat. That all changed when I walked by the Cobalt Boat & Bosun’s Marine dock. There I met a salesman named Chris Gardner who enthusiastically told me everything about a 30 foot twin outboard cobalt they had for sale. After looking around at some of the competitors boats, I returned to the Bosun’s Marine area where Chris and I reached an agreement on the price. I was once again happy boat owner. Bought a brand new 2017 Sea Fox Commander at Baltimore Boat Show. Was promised a list of things to be fixed to the demo boat including gel work, new dash pad replacement, (ours had a chip out of it), amongst other things. A letter from the Service Mgr was written of what was owed to us but when we would try to arrange service, they made it very inconvenient. They would've kept our boat for most of the summer. 3 years later, numerous phone calls, visits with several different personnel (can't they keep people here?), we were told that GYI cannot help us because they no longer sell Sea Fox and we now have to deal with Sea Fox directly. They are located in SC mind you. We will never purchase anything from this dealer again. So many promises never kept. Very poor...
