Eufaula Lake — Local services in Stidham

This man made lake offers alot, still discovering do much to do. I know one of my favorite moments was talking my kids to lake when all the geese were hanging out during the geese thing that geese were being about but they were everywhere and so many. Well took the kids out to a place got out with a loaf of bready and a few ducks were the first guest in our let's feed bread thing , but before we all knew it there were birds flocking in at flocks that were very huge and intemidating at first but they surrounded us in peace all about getting a bit of bread from these freaked out Hunan's. It got comfortable and kids was amazed not as much as I was cause I never thought that all the geese In the numbers that my bread feeding idea ever though I would see but it was so unreal but an awesome experience that I'm glad I got to be a part of cause that happens every year if I don't forget to remember the small things that are awesome have forgot many seasons and it's been a few years but an awesome discovery that lake has to offer just got to open your eyes and enjoy the small things. Another awesome thing was Yogi Bear park where I though I would have the best time with the kids until I swam out to the inflatable fun that was not just to find out how much energy this fun really cost it took me a few once I finally swam our to first obsticle I was about I wasn't really just being cool hanging in the water feeling cool and refreshed, I was trying to get the jello arms and lack of pull my self up to join the kids on the floating stuff. They had no clue just seeing dad be cool as hell but I climbed up finally after enough coolness was done made my was off of it all and back to the shallows whee the infints and old folks exist still looking cool and not one sign of what I was really struggling through ever was detected by any eye only these words I speak now ever said any truth but awesome place don't go being old thinking all the fun you think you can have here I promise it's not...

Nice place to camp if you can get in. My husband is a disabled veteran. Our son and family have just bought a travel trailer and wanted to do a test camping here. Since our son had enjoyed lot of time spent here with 4 older brothers and his papa & granny, he wanted his girls to experience great times like he had. Was so disappointed to find out " the trails" he used to explore were now overgrown and gone. We thought since there were so many spaces for disabled and we're walk up only, we could get a space easily. But no. Even though there were empty spots they said "reserved". Other spot had had empty tents chairs or something else sitting in the spot. So they must give out spot to people that pay for them even if they don't stay in them. Best like most anywhere. The water is warm and you can even find beaches that are very warm or areas that are cooler based on the currents and boating traffic. For instance bubblebuttbeach will be very warm and very shallow and great for kids and dogs where sissy Beach will be cooler water and the beach gets deep quick. Unfortunately many people that visit the lake dump their trash but fortunately there are decent people that show up and clean it up. It is a never-ending cycle.
