The priest's homily was beautifully piercing, about faith beginning with examples from home, putting God first, as his widowed father had done for he and his brothers, and becoming more familiar with scripture so to become more familiar with God. This is such a beautiful shrine devoted to the Divine Mercy of Jesus through St. Faustina. Truly holy grounds! We stumbled upon a little chapel and candle shrine near the gift shop that we had never seen on our previous visits. What a beautiful and peaceful little chapel! After praying there, we went into the candle shrine and lit some candles. I've never felt such peace! A must see when visiting this shrine. My wife and I visited this place in December 2019. Two chapels were open. The candle shrine and the adoration chapel next door.
