Our experience at this fair was terrible. We came on Saturday 9/1/18 specifically to see the demolition derby. Seating is first come first serve and not reserved. People are trying to reserve their seating by duct taping blankets to bleachers hours before the show starts. They are then leaving, and coming back minutes before the show starts to "claim" their seat. We were in the bleachers over an hour before the show, and we could not find a seat. After walking up and down the bleachers, I finally found a small gap in the blankets. I slid the blankets over more, so my mom and boyfriend could fit too. When part of the family, who "reserved" their seating, finally showed up about a half hour before the show, I was approached by a verbally aggressive man. I explained to him that we could not find a seat, even though over half the bleachers were empty. I also explained to him seating was first come first serve. The man was fuming and yelling. Later on in the show, there were giveaways. I reached down to grab a beer cozy, and the man who was sitting next to me ripped the cozy out of my hands and bent back my nails. I should not have to worry about coming to the fair and someone being both verbally and physically aggressive toward me. The derby itself was unorganized. They were still inspecting cars when the show was supposed to start. Start time was supposed to be 6:00 and the show didnt start until after 730. We had never been to this fair before, and we traveled about an hour to see the derby. We will probably not return to see the derby. Personally, I would rather buy my seat then deal with the chaos. It's ridiculous and shouldn't be allowed. People, not just me, are getting into arguments over seating, and that completely ruins the experience. People come to fairs to...

What a great time with friends at the Chris Higbee show , I was fortunate enough to see him years ago at the Wattsburg County Fair in Erie Pennsylvania his son was so much smaller and now he plays the fiddle too, this band is so talented the guitarist was awesomešŸ‘ as well as the rest of the band... To say the least Chris higbee is an amazing fiddle player & can Really sing ! Disappointed in the steak sub as it was nothing more than a big long hamburger patty on a stale bun it was awful but the funnel cake with the Reese's peanut butter cups was spectacular. If you get a chance to see this band though you need to check them out I was disappointed that the seats were not filled but it was a Thursday night because when I seen him in Wattsburg County there was hardly any seats available and everybody was up off their seats dancing I don't know maybe in the Erie area we support that kind of a show more don't really understand why there wasn't more people to see this great band. But it did not discourage the members of the band they played their hearts out God bless those guys they threw a great show šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ¤—šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡øšŸŽ»šŸŽøšŸŽ¤. By the way it was really entertaining to watch their little 2-year-old run around and dance with his little headphones on what an awesome family...

I have been going to the Stoneboro Fair all of my life, literally. It is a yearly tradition that started within my family way before I was a thought. I am going to be entirely honest, I was disappointed this year. One thing I look forward to the entire year is the dime toss, I know, I know, big deal. For 2 years now, it has been missing. Then I went to see Charlene, the woman that is set up with 31 products, and she wasn't there. Okay, I'll just go get my usual Scentsy fix from my lady across the aisle, nope. She's not there either. I will also mention, for anyone with a bee sting allergy, if it is a severe allergy, please being your Epi-pen. There are yellow-jackets EVERYWHERE!! My daughter had one almost get into her shirt under her armpit. I realize with all the sugary products on display and being made that there are going to be some winged intruders, but it was really bad this year. The food, from what everyone I was with said, was delicious. Rides were fun, but towards when we were leaving, the lines were getting pretty long. I won't say that I didn't enjoy the fair, I will go every year. It reminds me of when my grandpa was still with us and now I can make memories with my own daughter. Just for myself, and what I am used to, I was...

First time going to the fair out here. The food and game prices were absolutely insane. $5 to go into the mirror/fun house that took kids all of one minute to go through certainly not worth it. Lastly and it’s not necessarily the fairgrounds problem but the rides couldn’t be any less safe. They were clearly having some type of balance issue with the Ferris Wheel as they only had four seats being used (2 on each side) out of the maybe 15-16 seats on the ride. And the guy operating the ā€œFireballā€ (spin type ride) had to literally stand on a bucket, in the photo, so he could reach (barely) the ride controls.

Best down home ā€œrealā€ fair we have ever been to. I thought Crawford county is great until I came here. One admission for everything!!! Was just here for our 2nd year in a row!! It’s not huge but has a lot of stuff to do. Remember that feeling when you were a kid and you were somewhere, doing something, that was sooo much fun you didn’t want it to end?? Well, I get this feeling here with my children. The atmosphere, the lights, the sounds, just everything takes me back. We loved it so much we spent 8 hours here!!! The hay bale maze is the biggest and best, so much fun!!
