Will never do business with Orr Ford or any other Orr owned dealership again because of the way I have been treated at Orr Ford Stonewall. Purchased a used 2015 Lariat from them a couple months back and also purchased the premier extended warranty that the finance manager told me was bumper to bumper but before I get into that let me start from the beginning. First off, we have a 2014 Cadillac that we purchased from Orr brand new and currently have a 2017 Kia Sportage SXT that is on lease until October of this year which we will not be purchasing or getting anything else because of our last purchase at Orr Ford. Now to the issues why.... when I was searching for a truck I called up there and made an appointment with a sales rep. I arrived on time and had to wait almost 2 hours just to get pawned off on another sales rep. Finally made the purchase but still didnt have that awesome feeling you get when you purchase a new vehicle because of the sales rep. Now to the main reason why I will never buy from any Orr owned business again. 2 weeks before Thanksgiving my sunroof stopped working. Called and made an appointment to bring it in for a write up. The service rep. Shawn wanted me to bring it in the following Wednesday which I reminded him was the day before Thanksgiving and I offered to bring it in that Tuesday but he was adamant about Wednesday because he personally wanted to be involved in it so I show up for my appointment and get told that they are shutting down early and would not be able to get me in. After arguing with them about Shawn being the one who told me to come that day and didnt even bother to call and confirm or let me know they would be closing early the Service manager stepped in and said they would be able to look at it after all. So I leave it with them and Shawn calls me back later that evening to tell me that the sunroof needs to be adjusted, back glass needs to be replaced because the rail that the sliding window sits in had came loose and the keypad door actuator needed to be replaced as well. Told me that he called the extended warranty company but they were closed due to the holiday but that he would call me back after he had spoke with them the following Monday but that he was certain all repairs would be covered. After never receiving a call from Shawn on Momday I gave it until 3pm the next day and called him since I had not heard from him. Got him on the phone just to find out that he hadn't even called the warranty company yet. Said he was going to right then and call me back. He finally stuck to his word this time and called me back a few minutes later just to tell me that none of the repairs would be covered even though "he 100% thought they should be. So I asked him who did I need to speak with about this since its supposed to be the same as the factory warranty and he transferred me to the finance rep, David. Shawn and I both explained to David what the deal was and David agreed that it all should be covered and said he was going to call the manager at the warranty company and would be back in touch with me first thing the next morning. This was a Tuesday afternoon and by the following Thursday afternoon I still had not received a call back from anyone. Decided to go up there and they gave me a big speech about how they were going to take care of me. David told Shawn to get the warranty company on the phone and that he would be in touch with me once again. This time I gave it a full week, called Shawn back and he said that David decided to handle it and I would need to speak with him again. So I got transferred to David again who said he was still working on it and promised to call me the next day. Now here we are almost a month later and still no call back and nothing has been done. Simply put, all they care about is making a sale and have no support after the sale. I'm going to go up there tomorrow but if they try to give me the runaround again then I will forever part with all Orr...
Read moreOh boy, let me just tell yall about my experience with jimmy granger ford in stonewall, LA...so we speak online and over the phone Thursday and we have a car in mind. I told the salesman who I won't name, what I had to put down and what I wanted payments to be. Of course the car I wanted was out of my price range so I'm hoping this man has my best interest at heart, right? I have got to get a car!!!
I mean, this is a big decision, first car I've ever bought by myself with no co-signer and I am a single mom with 2 half grown kids, this is a big deal to ME!!!! Well, he finds 3 cars and we wonder around on foot in the middle of the day, around the back looking for these cars, I was beginning to think were imaginary. He gives up, then we go back inside. I'm done, ready to go. This guy and this place are a joke, I think. Why can't u ever find a decent car salesman, like ever in life. Sorry.
Anyway, I'm telling my friend I want to go and here he comes, he found the cars l (in the very front of the lot). So he swears to me they don't buy bad cars and their guy does a good job picking, so they don't sell lemons to people...uh huh.
So here I go to buy my 2019 Ford escape. Cute car. He encourages getting the warranty and I said these exact words and brought the whole incident into existence,
"so, I get the warranty and what do I do when I'm on my way to Arkansas this weekend and something goes wrong and I'm stranded on the side of the highway, what would I do?" He literally said " oh just call us, we will take care of you" Ha! Well, got the car, drove off praying this was a good decision. Go home, pack up and get on the road a gew hours later.
I made it from Bossier to Little rick and the whole transmission blew as i was driving 70 mph down i30 at 1030 at night!!! Less than 24 hours after signing the paperwoek!!!
That was Friday. No one could or would come get me.. My dad said "I'll pray for you".
Here I am in little rock airport on sunday, unable to afford a 500$ rental car to get home cause I spent the last 1000 I had, adding into my deposit cause he couldn't do anything with the $2000 I had to start with.
Mind u, again, single mom. 2 kids, 2 jobs and going to school to provide for my family after their father decided to stay in Arkansas and start a new family instead of finally stepping up to be 5he man and abide by the vows he already made!
So I'm out here alone and struggling already on a daily basis. Unless u are alone in this world with no one to help u navigate this life u cannot fully understand how that feels. And now im struggling even more now thanks to jimmy granger and his ford dealership in stonewall, la.
Bottom line, if you can't afford a brand new car and u are a single female who isn't that knowledgeable about cars other than basic maintenance and care, do not go to jimmy granger, u may end up like me...Stranded, broke and alone.
I don't anticipate much effort from anyone in making this right. I mean they got their money, they're done actually caring. I was transferred so many times and salesman even ignored my texts to his cell.
Wow I'm stranded amd stuck...

My wife and I were in the market for a specific type of used low milage f150. After a few weeks of research and visits to local dealerships, my patience for the dealership song and dance was starting to wear thin. Then we found Orr Ford in Stonewall LA after seeing their ads on cargurus. The ads seemed to good to be true but I decided to email them anyway.
I received an immediate response from Dalena of Orr Ford. To be honest this was a surprise since all of the other dealerships took several days to respond. Dalena informed me that the ad was in fact real and the truck was still available. Seeing is believing so my wife and I loaded up and made the 2 hour trip to Stonewall to see for ourselves. Dalena was very polite and professional which made coordinating the visit time a breeze.
Once arriving at the Orr Ford we were greeted by salesman Rene Deal. Rene was very polite and genuine which was very refreshing especially after considering the treatment we received from other dealerships earlier that week. We took the truck for a test drive and asked Rene a million questions. Rene was honest and upfront about very answer. I was impressed with the both the truck and Rene so we proceeded inside to discuss terms. It was here that we had the pleasure of meeting Shawn "Showtime" Wiese.
Shawn was very charismatic and personable so speaking with him was a pleasure. Shawn and Rene sat with us to answer any questions and discuss terms. During this point in the story, the dealership is now closing but this didn't seems to faze either Shawn or Rene who took all the time necessary to answer any questions or reservations we had. Now at this point of a dealership visit I was expecting the phrase "let me go check with my manager" or "that's the best we can do." Instead Shawn and Rene was very upfront and honest about Orr Ford's business model. I found this to be strange since I had never received this kind of honesty at a dealership before.
At this point I was sold so we agreed on terms. Shawn and Rene took the time to showcase what the deal would look on paper. This was yet another amazing surprise since most dealerships like to kick customers to the awful finance guy to finish the deal.
After finishing talks with Shawn and Rene, we did finally make our was to the finance person. This was were we had the pleasure of meeting Sam who was just as polite and genuine as our salesman Rene. Sam was very transparent and explained everything throughly. At no point during the signing did we ever feel pressured by Sam to finalize the deal or agree to unwanted extended warranties. By the time we finished all the paperwork, it was 2 hours after closing and at no point during our visit were we ever rushed.
This was by far the best car shopping experience we have ever had. I would like to thank Dalena, Rene, Shawn, and Sam for making this a fantastic experience. The next time my family needs a vehicle, Orr Ford will be our first...
