Hartlaub's New & Used Furniture — Local services in Straban Township

The furniture and prices there are very nice, but the customer service is horrible. The gentleman who I asked to help me treated me very poorly. He acted like I had no money when I asked him about the financing plan they had. We just got our first home and were looking to buy a new bed, washer and dryer, and a couch. I asked for help in locating the queen bed frames first and the man immediately profiled me as someone poor, I'm guessing because I went right from work and I am a dog groomer so I wear yoga pants to work and don't dress in nice clothes to cut dog hair. He didn't want to take the time to answer any of my questions but followed me around the whole time. I tried to ask about the washer and dryers and they pretty much told me I couldn't afford them. Attempted to look for a fridge today and had my mom and 3 of my kids. Before I even got in the door, the owner made a rude comment about the fact that I had so many kids. My two year old was excited to see furniture and ran to the first couch to sit down, mind you it was raining, and she got up and sat down like she knows how without touching her feet on it. Before I even had my whole body and car seat in the store, the owner was scolding her to get off with her wet feet that never even touched the damn couch. And assuming there was a rug to wipe them as you walk in, they weren’t even wet!! I didn’t even have a chance to tell the kids to watch their feet before he scolded and made us all fee very unwelcome! Sorry but if you don’t want kids in your store start a diff business!! We been customers for over 30 years. And mostly everything we have we purchase from Hartlaub . But we purchased a new table and 6 chairs .We couldn't really look at it that great cause the place is so cluttered. But when we got it home the leg braces on chair was crack and the back braces gone in to the seat was lose and the wedges was falling out.Their repairs made the damage worse.I'm very dissatisfied and I will longer be a faithful customer The only feed back pertaining to this business will be negative.Farther more my daughter received the same bad service as we did when she was trying to establish her home.No contact with them is the...
