I had my worst experience ever at Lindt store . I was shopping today at "the outlet at orange" on Aug 5th 2016 at 7:20pm
I went in and bought some chocolates earlier in the day, and I was offered a complimentary chocolate at the time
Then my son in law and my grand child wanted to buy more chocolates so I took them to the store, and given there were so many options, I inquired about whether she can have a complimentary chocolate so she would have a taste of what she wanted to buy.
Then the store manger "Jessie Rodriguez" replied so rudely that we were not allowed any.
I explained to him that I was offered one a while ago, yet he insisted that the store has stopped offering complimentary chocolates 2 months ago and when I told him that I just had one a couple of hours ago, he bluntly and rudely told me that I wasn't supposed to take any and told me he will take care of this with the guy who gave me one!!!
Lastly, as my granddaughter was holding a couple of chocolates in her hand, my son in law asked if he can buy them so we would leave, because we were greatly insulted, so the man just told him when you are ready to pay, come to me .. My son in law, replied: "when I'm ready to buy, I shall come to you" .. And the man offensively repeated: "no, when you are ready to pay!!!"
I mean! Seriously!!! Is this guy for real?!! Is this a way to talk to a customer?!!
We were gravely offended and seriously insulted in so many levels, I was. Lindt fan for over 40 years
However, this is all ancient history now! Rest assured, that I will never buy anything from you again!
Also, given I believe in the power of the "word of mouth" I shall tell all my friends what happened and I shall take this to the social media so that everyone would know what's it like to be treated in a Lindt store nowadays!
I just hope that this guy is just antisocial person and not a racist or else this would certainly take things to a whole new level of...
Read more2022-06-04: My review is based on ordering larger quantities online. I have not physically been to this Lindt & Sprüngli factory. That being said, I've been an online customer for a couple of years. I've never had any issues with ordering, shipping, or my order having issues. In the warmer weather, my orders have always come packed with cold packs and I've never had any melted disasters. My order has always been on time and correct. I'll continue to order from Lindt's website directly versus buying shaker quantities in any store locally. (Besides, if you time the sales with any promo codes from being on their email list, you can purchase truffles for MUCH less while having a greater selection...
Read moreCan we all just agree that EVERY company should be like Lindt? My appt was for 15:00 on 10/15. I got there early at 17:30 on 10/14. They said they would take a little while which was fine since I wasn't even expecting to get loaded the same day. I was given a dock and to my surprise, they finished loading and gave me the paperwork at 20:30. The free chocolate was a nice bonus as well. I would be more than happy to pick up or deliver to this location again.
EDIT: I forgot to mention. I used their restroom and I gotta say, it was cleaner than any bathroom I've ever been to. Even my own (shame on me). I bet you could eat off the floor and you'd walk away fine...
