We had such a great stay at The Chal-A and will definitely be going back! The cabin is perfectly located away from the main road and tucked into the woods for lots of privacy. At the same time, it is just a short drive to so many great spots, including delicious restaurants, covered bridges, hiking trails, and country stores. The Chal-A is super clean and bright with large windows that let in tons of natural light. A few features that we loved about our stay were the homemade local marshmallows waiting for us on our arrival, the largest collection of National Geographic magazines we have ever seen, the beautiful local artwork and photography decorating the walls, and the coffee bar with Green Mountain coffee to get us ready for the day’s adventures. And our pups absolutely loved their stay here as well!

Such an AMAZING and cozy place!!! We had an absolute fantastic weekend. We felt very safe the entire time, the location is perfect. extremely close to the ski resorts ;) The host Shaun is very responsive, friendly the entire time! The A frame is gorgeous instead and out!!!! On the inside, it was stocked with everything needed, it is very clean. The A frame even came with some delicious homemade marshmallows from a local shop in Vermont. It was perfect for the fire pit in the front. I will 100% stay again if I make the trip up to Vermont and I recommend anyone visiting Vermont to do the same! :)

The Cha-A: A-frame is truly a 10/10. The owners (Shaun, Justin, and Ryan) are some of the nicest and caring people I’ve come across. The space is absolutely gorgeous. The interior is open and bright with multiple bedrooms for family and friends to gather. The exterior is beyond gorgeous and is simply one of the best spots I’ve been too. If you’re looking for a spot in Southern Vermont to stay at during a weekend escape or mid-week adventure, I highly recommend the Chal-A. Already looking forward to coming back again!

We visited the Chal-A with a group of 6 plus a pup... when I say we made the BEST memories, I mean it. First of all, this property is absolutely beautiful. The A-frame itself is breathtaking especially when you turn in from the main road and get to feel like you're in your own little oasis with the coolest house ever. Inside, everything felt so new and modern while at the same time being cozy and inviting. There was ample space for all of us to have privacy and at the same time the A-frame provided so many places to gather as a group. We had a campfire to roast marshmallows on, we had a picnic table where we set up the best charcuterie board, we had a hammock to chill on, and inside we had all the best appliances to cook big 'family' breakfast and dinners on, games to play all together, and comfy couches to chill on while watching the rain outside. The beds were super comfortable with soft sheets and the bathrooms were immaculate. There was central air so we never felt hot and could control our individual room temperatures with the additional fans in each room. At night, we got to play our music on their amazing Marshalls speakers and dance the night away without feeling like we were bothering anyone. The pup had so much fun smelling all the grass outside and running around without us feeling he could run away. Overall, seriously would recommend the Chal-A... we had...

The Chal-A A-Frame is a delightful surprise. The home is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Given that pets are allowed, this was a worry of mine that I’d be dealing with pet hair, but there was none. The setting is picturesque, quiet, secluded and peaceful. There were many nice touches that were unexpected: firewood chopped and ready for use in the fire pit; gourmet marshmallows from a local vendor; several candy jars stocked with various candies; fully stocked with coffees, tea and sugar; paper product’s all there and ready for you (paper towels, napkins and toilet paper); many games there for your use and pleasure and lastly the linens were very clean (bath towels, hand and dish towels as well as the bedding. It is close to skiing and many local places to eat. I’m sure there are more things, but I think you get the point. The host was quick to respond to all questions and was a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely go back and recommend this...
