Midway Processing — Local services in Stroud

We brought in 4 hogs that were very high quality and got back a low yield of processed meat that was short by at least 33% of what it should have been. It wasn’t all cut the way it was ordered, and was wrapped very inconsistently. There was some rude and unprofessional behavior by the owner. Whether it’s dishonesty or just poorly done work doesn’t matter. There is no excuse for it. Do not go here. We used them because the regular place was booked up all winter. The owner has changed his story from saying we can have some of the money back to saying they can’t admit any guilt so the problem is that our hogs were tiny, which is an outright lie. We only got 5 pounds of bacon each out of 4 whole hogs that ranged from 275 to 350...

Candace and the team that she has, has been the best that we found. We have used Midway Custom Meat Processing for years and we refuse go anywhere else. We've gone to others and were not satisfied, but this group is great! Good prices, attention to detail and we always know that we, as well as our customers that buy beef cattle from us, get the meat that we took in... unlike with some others that we've used in the past.
