South Dakota Canine Center — Local services in Sturgis

We were traveling from Kentucky & didn’t want to leave our German Shepherd in the room all day while we were sightseeing. Our shepherd tries to intimidate everyone when he first meets them but he’s friendly once he gets to know people. Kelly & her husband were great with him. We used their daycare services 2 days in a row. The second day he was eager to get out & greet Kelly. He has never been in a kennel & has separation anxiety so we were worried about how he would react. He loves other dogs & was happy to have some to play with. I’d give them 10 stars if I could. Their price was very reasonable, $18 per day or $25 for overnight. They were very flexible on times for drop off & pickup. Couldn’t ask for a...

If we could give these guys 10 stars we would. After driving all around western South Dakota to find the right trainer for our dog. It was a no brainer committing to SDCC. We took our one dog in for a two week board and train, our dog has never been happier. Along with the improvements of the dog who visited the facility we applied the same training to our husky and it’s a night and day difference with her obedience. We can’t even imagine going to anyone else for our fur balls. If you are even thinking twice about SDCC, it’s worthy every penny and you can sleep at night knowing your dogs are going to be well...

Stella had a lot of issues, nipping, sprinting after rabbits, not coming when called to name a few. She was controlling us !!!! Tim kept Stella for 3 weeks and took her everywhere. We took her to breakfast and there was a dog 2 tables down and Stella ignored him.( before training she would have been barking, jumping And carrying on that we would have had to leave) she is now much calmer and looks to us So she doesn’t have to make decisions on her own. We would highly recommend Tim and Kelly training your dog to make your life Wonderful…ps we have a border collie and was very high...
