Sturtevant Sports Plex — Local services in Sturtevant

Fantastic facility! I have used this facility countless times in the winter to play ultimate frisbee. Our group would play once a week in the winter, and anywhere from 30 to 60 players would show up. I would also attend an annual tournament and they would have a huge turnout!! However all this came to an end when the REAL school got bought out. The new owners decided to buy out the Sports Plex and then jack the prices up! This made it extremely expensive to rent out the facility and as a result the tournament and the weekly games had to be called off this year. not an actual open gym like it used to be pre pandemic. Poorly organized and never any staff to ask about what is going on. two times i tried it out and both times there were kids soccer games going on while the basketball courts remained locked up and unable to pay to get in. Seriously i want to pay you to play basketbal but your so unorganized i cant. It may have days where the gym is open to pay by the day but who would know? certainly not me because no information about that is anywhere online or in the building. 3$ entrance fee for adults seems like a lot for a 40 minute soccer game (usually entrance fees are applied for tournament entrance, not league games.) Also, they are no longer serving the best tacos, or any food... I wish they at least had concessions if they are going to charge...
