I’ve lived at Lakeview at Westpark for almost 3 years now, and during that time, I've seen management change four times. Honestly, I wish Greystar (the original owners) had never sold the property because every management team since then has been disappointing. The only person who ever made a difference here was Milazia, but of course, they moved her to a different office.
The issues in this complex just continue to pile up. It’s sad to say, but you’ll often see groups of kids hanging out by the welcome sign—it's just not the atmosphere you'd expect from a place like this.
Plus, management has no respect for residents' privacy. They allow pest control to enter your apartment without giving any kind of prior notice. It’s really unsettling.
To make matters worse, our registered car got towed because of a scrapped tire. Not to mention, someone almost stole our catalytic converter on another one of our vehicles. If it wasn’t for our neighbors calling the police, we wouldn’t had known that night. It’s not like we have a security office or patrol…. Still, the complex did absolutely nothing about it.
There was even a shooting right in front of the complex earlier in 2024, but guess what? No onsite security, no officer patrol. We did have one single camera by the office but when asking December 2024 why it was removed after ALL 4 of our tires were stolen when parked in front of the office, we received this email reply from office management.
“The cameras were removed because our contract with them has ended. Our manager, Jose, is currently reviewing bids from other options for camera services and will be working to find a solution moving forward.”
It is now April 2025.
The level of negligence is shocking. A small thunderstorm in 2023 knocked out the hallway lights, and it took management a month and a half to fix them. Yet they always hype up amenities like the pet spa, which is hardly ever clean.
To top it all off, I reported broken glass beer bottles in a parking spot, and after six days of nothing being done, I followed up with management. Their excuse? Maintenance couldn’t sweep it up because they were about to leave in 15 minutes.
It’s frustrating because this place could be great, but the current management and lack of security make it feel unsafe and poorly maintained. Honestly, I can’t recommend Lakeview at Westpark anymore.

Read moreREAD ALL THE REVIEWS ACROSS ALL WEBSITES BEFORE LEASING. Let me start off by saying that the pictures on their website make this complex look WAY better than it actually is. I relocated from 10 hours away and signed the lease site unseen. Initially, I liked my apartment but then the neighbors started to tell me the horror stories of the management, the complex being sold twice within months, the construction company leaving because of the management defaulting and how they don’t handle problems. I didn’t think much of it until I had my own issues with management. I had the master bedroom blinds reported in my move IN sheet as being the wrong size. They are 6 inches too short. 4 months later… still not fixed. I have cardboard up to cover the open areas so I have privacy…real luxurious right?? The floors are dented and have deep scratches in them why were they not replaced before I moved in. You get charged a pest fee but don’t get pest service unless you request it. Parking is a complete and utter nightmare. Each apartment should have designated parking but it doesn’t. Good luck finding a spot or pay an additional $75 or $150 for a reserved spot. And when you park in the only parking spot close enough to your apartment which happens to be new resident parking, you get a nasty gram from management. Also, they do not return phone calls or emails. They don’t accept financial assistance at all. The job I moved down here for was placed on administrative hold and the management team couldn’t care less. And when you go to the leasing office the management refers to you as your apartment number not by your name which I find highly disrespectful. They are rude and unhelpful. The gym is a mess 24/7, the common area is trashed , pool balls missing and kids run rampant throughout all the facilities. Trash is overflowing. And you get threatening complex wide letter on your door about once a month about additional fines of you don’t do “xyz”. The dog park is pitiful. No gates and nothing really luxurious about these apartments. They are new and offer amenities that you HAVE to pay for. I never leave bad reviews. Ever. But this place needs to take care of it’s current residents and step up the customer service a lot. I was honestly trying to come up with some pros and cons but everything here is disappointing. I can NOT...
Read moreI have really held my silence. I’m tired of seeing these auto reviews they ask people to give to get incentives. I have spoken to many of my neighbors and living here isn’t worth the hype . If you go to Katy or even Houston you’ll get high end and Respect . If I’m paying 2,000 … why would I want dirty funiture at the pool , swing park( seats are molded) , or grill. It’s like they don’t even try to grab bleach and clean . The pictures are not what you see . The community center is small relatively for 300 occupants . There is a fight for the gym , pool and grill .! Not to mention the tanks are never filled . The lies about it being 24hours . Only mailbox and mall area is available. I wish I would’ve moved somewhere else . I understand the office area but the middle part ?? It’s way too many people to just have this one section locked . Parking with a small baby is insane . You have to pay for a spot . Trifling !!! Every management they get is uncaring and honestly must just need a job . There is one race in office and that’s a red flag . Where is the diversity ? Im all for girl power but they come off not friendly . And a lot of tenets can do a poll and I bet 85% would say they regret living here due to inflation of pricing and also the disregard of cleaning. What is maintenance for ? I been here for a while and I wish I can get out my lease . I pray god lead me to a place with honesty , people with integrity and actually love showing people luxury . 2,000$ isn’t money people to give for free.. I pay for a luxury home as the site states but there is NO SUCH THING . these apartments were just thrown together. Yes, I chose to stay here because I thought that they were living up to their expectations, but they weren’t not the first management and not the second one. I mean really you reading these reviews just come over on our day and look at the property then go to the website and look at the pictures and the prices you’re gonna be astonished. Floors in hallway are disgusting! I have been to so many different complex wish I wasn’t in a rush to move because I would’ve walked out from day 1 ! Living in the second floor has...
