I set up 4 washes with Desiree as a new customer. The day of my 1st appointment she was not there due to a doctors appointment. Her replacement is where my issue comes in at. Now before I go further I understand it was a 3.00 wash no high expectations. The lady was very quick with washing my hair and when she brought me to the chair she brought the brush down on my head that it hurt and gave me 3 strokes down my VERY LONG hair. I was sent out the door with tangles and as my hair dried it frizzed up and it felt like a residue was on my hair. When I called to cancel my appointments with Desiree this lady answered my call and I did not know it was her. When I was done talking she got a tone with me and told me my hair issue was because I left with a wet head. NOPE that is not the issue, because I never blow dry my hair and never have frizzy hair till midsummer when the heat index is so high. I did expect customer service at the least. Read moreI went to Maria Herrera to get my hair cut, and she was very unprofessional. she told us it would be about 20 min ended up being 45, which is understandable. After she called me over to her chair I had to wait another 4 min while I waited for her to answer emails and phone calls. When she was 2 minutes into starting on my hair her friend walked in and said she was in a rush, but even after seeing how long I had waited on her and seeing my kids were getting antsy she still had the nerve to ask me if I was in a rush. I should have walked out but I didn't. She cut my hair in a rush and didn't cut it the length I wanted or the style I wanted either. She ended up leaving a chunk of hair about an inch longer than the rest. She didn't even give me a chance to look at my hair before getting me out of the chair. Paid $25 for a dry cut. Read moreI had a bad experience at first. Went in on Monday and had my hair done by someone who was very rude and didn’t know what she was doing, I was in and out within 30 minutes. My hair looked so bad and I cried and cried. I had been to the studio numerous times and always had great experiences so I messaged Studio 9 on their Facebook page and they were very apologetic and said they would make things right. On Saturday I went in and Janie fixed my hair for free. She spent 4 hours taking her time to make my hair look good. I was so stunned at the final results because it looked amazing.
