We stayed here for 3 weeks to explore the Seattle area. We had high hopes entering this park as it was new, the sites were huge, and we had a great view of the mountains. There was also an excellent construction rate on the table.
It's a lovely park -- yes, still under construction, but that's fine due to the rate.
The issues came with the worst neighbor we've had in our many months on the road. They chained their poor little dog outside all day, where it yapped. And not only that but they let their multiple small children (the youngest was a toddler) run free without supervision. The kids stood in the roads blocking them and seemed to delight in that, screamed outside after quiet hours, etc.
I happened to chat with a staff member later on, who knew the situations I was talking about. Apparently multiple other guests complained (and the children had been known to mess with the staff as well) -- but they had been giving this family many chances and warnings, and according to this staffer they were "on their last strike."
This seems far too lenient considering the many violations of park policy. It unfortunately did have an impact on our stay. We made the most of it, but it was very disappointing.
There was also another small snag, one I wouldn't have even noticed had this situation not happened with the neighbors and lack of rule enforcement. When we were coming into the park, we weren't sure whether or not our arrival would be late or not, so we followed the late check-in procedures on the website, which instructed us to call and speak with someone before an appointed time.
I did that at the proper time. No one answered the phone, so I left a voicemail. After receiving no call back after an hour, I called again and left a second voicemail. Per the instructions on their website, I needed to speak someone, so I promptly emailed them as well just to make sure they knew the situation. No response.
Thankfully, once we arrived, someone arrived to the office within 5 minutes or so. (Another guest was in the lobby waiting as well who had been there a bit; she was there to complain about the wi-fi going down.)
The woman who checked me in was lovely. I told her about the issues I'd had trying to call or email in - and she told me that their tech systems were all screwed up. That the voicemail and email weren't working.
I was grateful then that we hadn't been as late as I'd feared we'd be.
Again, a very small thing at the moment, but when combined with the issue with the family, it does give me pause.
Great location, great price, nice big open spaces, love the mountains, full hookups worked great. The staff all seemed rather kind. My neighbors other than this one family were all great.
But even given all that, I don't know if I'd stay at this park again. I am honestly worried about how the campground would handle an actual crisis, between their lenience to rule breakers and the difficulty I had in reaching them promptly.
Which is a pity. Upon entering the park, I thought I might have found a...

Cons- We had been walking our dogs on a public road behind the park, we were asked to only walk on ¾ of the road as a neighbor's dog didnāt like dogs walking in the area. Locals would aggressively ābuzzā by me in their vehicles while I was walking dogs. Eventually they placed a āprivate road-residents onlyā sign on the public street. Staff said locals had always been very unhappy about this RV Park being built here and they were wanting to appease them whenever possible so reinforced that we should not walk on the public road. There are no other areas in the immediate area to take dogs for a walk, just the dog park, which gets a lot of use so it can be tricky to get a moment alone there if your dog isnāt dog friendly. Other open grassy areas are muddy/weedy with thorny blackberry starts scattered throughout making them not great for dogs to...
Ā Ā Ā Read more10/10 Awesome rv resort!
The RV resort is behind schedule on construction for somethings due to the soggy/snowy weather we have had this past winter/spring BUT that doesnāt keep this place from being a GREAT spot to set up your rig and kick back. The laundry and bathroom facilities are very clean and well maintained, no issues there at all.
I love how much space you get in between each rig set up, you also get a nice Astro turf yard and extra parking on the rock area of each site which is nice.
The dog park is open and can be used, my dog loves having that as an option.
We enjoy that we are so close to several family friendly hikes, playgrounds, library, post office. As well as having that small town feel in the area still.
They do have propane on site, so you can get a refill when needed. Customer service is great and I enjoy that we have a camp host here at the park for any questions if needed when the office isnāt staffed. Nice fenced in RV resort with one way in and out. Though they are doing construction still here at the RV park I have never had any issues with noise from that construction.
There is an Amazon box at the gas station within walking distance if you need to get anything shipped while in town.
Everyone seems to be happy and welcoming here at Cascades RV Resort, I will upload more photos as the park expands and comes close to a finish on construction. In all I highly recommend Cascades RV resort for your next stay when in the...
