Ithamar was awesome to work with! Great communication, super easy process, fair pricing, and the crawfish quality was top notch. The last time we boiled crawfish locally, I stalked Asian grocery stores for days in order to find some in stock... working with Ithamar made everything SO much easier and we look forward to hosting boils much more frequently!

Update: our group of friends from Louisiana are now in our second year of boils with WA Crawfish Company. We no longer miss Louisiana crawfish! These are bigger, sweeter, and once you get the boil/seasoning ratio figured out (you need a lot more since the shells are thicker) the only downside is that they’re slightly more difficult to peel. Ithamar continues to make the process really easy and we are so thankful to have found him!

Washington Crawfish Company is an excellent place to buy fresh, live crawfish. They fully clean (purge) the crawfish, making prep for cooking far less time-consuming.

I contacted them through their website and followed their order process, which was simple and easy! Their site will show you how many pounds are available each day during the season. and I placed my order.

Their email communications were always very responsive. Everything was organized and ready when I arrived to pick up my order. They even offer free ice to keep your crawfish fresh after purchase.

UPDATE: Just ordered another 20lbs for a party and they were a hit! The crawfish were as fresh as they could be and we used “Slap Yo Mama” spice bag that we got from Amazon and it had just the right amount of spice that went perfectly with the crawfish. The pick up was super easy as well because before my pickup an email with detailed instructions was sent to me to show me exactly where to go and they even had ice to help with the transportation to keep the fresh in my cooler. 10 out of 10 experience with pickup and quality!
