One of the most spectacular beaches in Santa Barbara! Parking is free and readily available, plus a lovely little walk under the bridge on a sandy path leads you down to this incredible beach which is usually minimally populated -- a rarity for Santa Barbara. The cliffs are really stunning especially in dawn or dusk lighting, the beach is wide and great for dogs and children alike, and it feels accessible and secluded all at once. During the pandemic, walks on this beach saved my sanity, and I'll make sure to visit each time I return to...

Great somewhat private beach but he aware there is an oil spill off the coast and it's all over the beach and in the water. I accidentally stepped in it and it was a nightmare to get off my feet and sandals. It's a total vibe killer to be exposed to cancer causing substances...

I dont want to ruin surprises but this beach is definitely worth seeking out, whether you pack it in for the day, or stop by for a morning walk. Mostly secluded, local favorite, dogs are super friendly and the views are superb.
