Cascades Golf Course — Local services in Summit Township

Have been playing this golf course on and off for 15 years. I won’t be returning. Today and this past Friday I golfed with the same experience...not a single player coming up the fairway on 9 and I asked to play the back 9, both times I was told this wasn’t possible. I was golfing solo. Certainly could’ve been on hole 11 by the time anyone made the turn. During both occasions I had to wait for 4-8 people on the front tee regardless of my tee time. While teeing off on the front, after waiting for multiple groups, the groups playing #9 made the turn. As I said previously I could’ve been on 11 almost 12 by this time as a solo golfer. Worse experience on a golf course ever! Course was in great shape but... It was 25 minutes past our scheduled tee time before we actually teed off. The pace was exceedingly slow due to a group way ahead causing a massive traffic jam. After three hours we finally made the turn and had to weight on the tee box for over twenty minutes. Finally saw the "Range Master" who proceeded to tell US to pick up the pace as WE were slowing things down. If the idiot would have done his job he would have seen the cause was several groups ahead of us. First time we saw this guy all day! I have played this course many times over the years with friends and family, but no more. Due to conditions and poor course management we we unable to complete the 18 hole round we paid for. Instead of giving us a credit for the second 9 holes which would have allowed us to play the 9 we missed , they gave us partial monetary credit for the back 9 instead. Those partial credits mean we have to pay extra to complete our round . I questioned 3 other course managers and an LPGA pro and they agreed that we were due 9 holes regardless of how it is written up . Because I have family in Jackson I play in that are 7 or 8 times a season . I guess the management of Cascades isn’t interested in...
