Food Lion — Local services in Summit Township

Nice store for a small town. Good selection. Good staff. Misses the boat on what locals want. More concerned about corporate opinions. Some regional brands are ignored in favored of big name national brands. Del Grosso sauces are very popular and reasonably priced. They will not carry them in spite of customer requests. If i have to go to shop n save for sauce i may as well bye all my groceries there. Insist on carrying southern items that sit on shelves. Pretty good selection, decent layout. I did find it weird that chips are in their own little bungalow section off to one side in a corner as opposed to in an aisle, and yet there are chips on a bunch of endcaps e.g. near the condiments/dips. There was a huge empty shelf of Fritos in the actual chip section, but I then found a bag on the side of an endcap on completely the opposite side of the store. Feels like poor corporate planning there.

This place is ridiculous. Every time I get a salad here it says on it "one fork and kens ranch dressing pouch included" guess what's NEVER included? That's right,the fork OR ranch dressing. And bought a salad today and it had huge onion pieces in it. I wouldn't even call it a salad,it was more or less an onion pretending to be a salad. So disappointing how downhill this place is going. Also had a cart that someone didn't put away fly into my car on a windy day and break out one of my headlights. Don't come...
