Always has awesome exhibits but $12 a person wouldn't be horrible if they had nice rides and games. I remember when the games were packed with ppl now no one is playing either because the price or the rude ppl running them. Then you have Gandalf at the front gate telling you that you can not pass unless you pay the $12 when the other ppl said its free admission unless you ride or go to the grandstands. The junior fair board I can tell are trying but the fair board is so delusional thinking ppl enjoy being talked down to by the carnival they hired. I will not be returning until this carnival is gone and we have the old one back. And the amount of trash that was around the rides this year looks like our county is a filth hole. Also need new procedures for the exhibit entries if someone gets first they should get a first place check and when someone places 2nd their check shouldn't be given to someone else because alot of that last name was entered. They should have to see their entry tickets to collect their items and the check. Very disappointed in this fair the last couple if years but this year was...

You can enter to win baskets and do some light shopping if you'd like (or, perhaps some heavy shopping if you'd like to bid for a cow). Free bibles If that's your thing. Fun for the whole family, but bring some sun screen if you're going to sit on the bleachers, as you won't even notice getting a burn from all the excitement, til it's too late. Make sure to get a picture at one or all of the photo opportunities scattered around the site, and if you get a chance, congratulate the fair queen! I try to go every year. Would highly recommend to anyone, but especially great as a wholesome family event. Great opportunity for kids to learn about farming and...
Read moreWent early on senior citizens day, 55 and up free parking and admission to the grounds. Looked around for a while, many of the vendors booths were not manned during the time we were there. We purchased lunch from the fireman's concession stand. We had hamburgers and cheese fries. The burgers were delicious and the fries were very good. There was a good crowd of senior citizens who took advantage of the free admission to visit the fair. Some were playing bingo in the 4H building and other people strolled through the exhibit halls. Free admission did not include rides or grandstand. There's a $10. Wristband needed for...
