We were towing our Airstream Trailer to Buffalo Point NP from Florida when our transmission started going out. We lost 5 gears and got a big clunk on downgrades. It was harrowing on the mountain roads. Park Ranger Ryan recommended RPM in Summit. Don one of their mechanics actually came out to our camp. We thought we needed a new transmission but he diagnosed it as a solenoid. He was right and fixed it as quickly as possible using warranty Toyota parts. The owner Bryan drove us back and forth to their shop and even offered to take us for supplies if needed for the several days that we were stranded. Don did all the work needed plus new upgraded brakes that I requested and it's driving better than new now. They could have sold us a whole new transmission or installed a substandard rebuilt one for more than twice the cost. Instead they did only what was needed and did it well and as quickly as possible.
