Willow Party Store — Local services in Sumpter Township

I stopped in to see if they sold brooms, which they didn't. I needed one because I was at the cemetery up the street cleaning my mom and dad's headstone and needed something to clean the dirt out of the letters, which I never told the man and he says to me, hold on, then he came out with an old broom and said you can have it, I was amazed and said, are you sure and he said yes. I then thanked him and told him why I needed it and he smiled like he knew I was desperate. I wanted to grab him and hug him, but I just thanked him. I live an hour away from this store, but anytime I am in the area I will always give him my business and remember...

So a bunch of new owners and workers have come in. They’re not from Sumpter or Belleville or VBT. I ask where they are from, they say India.

I’m mad because our local business should be owned by local families. Or something close.
