Epicurean Factory Store — Local services in Superior

This outlet sells cutting boards. That is exactly how they advertise. But they also have Swiss Army knives and that company has other knives and a line of backpacks amongst other products. They manufacture the cutting boards at this location. Since we don't want to cross contaminate between our foods, I bought several boards in different sizes. I will be going back because we will be having a barbeque this summer and I am going to buy individual boards for our guests to hold the hors d'oeuvres such as cheese and meats. Then they can take them home to use after the party. Some of the boards are spectacular. Beautiful woods and composites...even boards from milk cartons. I was glad we stopped. Right now they are open during the week Mon thru Fri and I believe 9 to 5. They are kind of hard to find but if you know where Barkers Island is...look for the Peavey Grain elevator...and there is a Perkins in that location. Look for their signs...worth the effort. And you can sit by the water...they have some chairs in the front around a campfire ring. Especially nice if waiting for a slow shopper who looks...

When I showed up, the door was locked even though I could see people shopping around inside, work members, and it was well before close. I had to call the store twice before someone answered and told us that the door was stuck, and had been doing that for some time. The person who picked up said the door needed to be opened from the inside, but even after explaining that I was actively trying to get in their store, I had to request them to open the door (he didn't volunteer to do it even though I said I was in the parking lot trying to get in). I LOVE epicurean products!! They are the only kitchen utensils and cutting boards I use!! I’m a big fan of the outlet store! I always get great deals on amazing products. The only sad part is that the store does not have super long hours that they are open, so they are often closed by the time I get off work. Therefore, I normally go on my days off.
