I gave this course 5 stars because it was absolutely great! I loved my first time experience here. We pulled into the parking lot and a gentleman met us with a golf cart. Very friendly and informative. We ran into a fog delay but were able to use the driving range and putting green until they released us to head to the first tee. Everyone we talked with was very friendly and relaxed. The clubhouse was very clean and organized. This course is a lynx style course. Very open layout with undulating fairways and greens. The rough was well trimmed and playable. The tall grass or heather was something you didn't want to be in but I did see some people trying to hit out of it. We were told for the pace of play sometimes it better to pick up your ball and move it out of the heather. The fairways were in great shape and well taken care of. The greens had previously been aerated and sanded but were rolling very well. There is water in several places and some do require a well placed shot. All in all this course is a must play and I will be heading back next year to play at least two rounds in a day. Thanks to all the staff at Eagle Glen for a great time!

First of all, the staff at this course is absolutely amazing, friendly and professional! Now to the course itself…the fairways were in amazing shape and very well manicured! The greens roll out great or stick and spin, depending on your approach shots. Very wide open fairways, without a whole lot of trouble, making for a relaxing day and not stressing, if your massive slice comes back to haunt you! The main thing to be aware of is the very tall, thick grass that will punish you, if you happen to get into those spots!

Just got a chance to play a late season round of golf with a veterans Golf association at eagle Glen Golf course in farwell, Michigan. This was an exceptional course for such a late date challenging, but fun. Exceptionally well maintained greens fairways and tea boxes.

Played late June ā€˜23. Course was in great shape, and the staff was quite friendly. It was a busy day and the pace on the front 9 was great. Back 9 was a bit slower, but a group of 12 took an extended break at the turn to grab a full lunch and hopped between the group in front of us and our 2-some (not the courses fault). I’m not from the area but will definitely be back. I liked the whole course, but I believe holes 2 and 3 were my favorite. Great course, great price, and easy to hit on your way up north! Thanks Eagle Glen, we’ll be back!

updated review* 5 star course in June and a 5 star in late July! Came back with a 4 some and everyone was impressed. Great course! Will be back here...

This was my first time up in the area and booked a tee time at this little unknown course. I was blown away with the customer service, friendliness of the staff, and condition of the course. This is a hidden Gem. The place is amazingly maintained, wide open with enough hazards to make it challenging, yet not too terribly hard for a high handicapper like me. It was pretty scenery around the course, and again, greens, fairways, and roughs are in top shape.

There are lots of well maintaine courses in Michigan. But At the end of the day, Tyler in The Pro shop is what made my round so amazing. His customer service is above reproach and is why I will return to play round...
