Bought a 2016 GMC Canyon 2.8L 4WD a year and a few months ago. In person, best experience ever. Real great people, stayed late to get me a vehicle I was on a deadline for after mine got t- boned. Drove a state over to get the same year, make, and model as my recently wrecked pickup. Bought it with a smile and the guarantee that the mechanics had gone over it, complete Rough Country 4" lift, everything was solid and good to go. Few months later, my driver side control arm failed. Mechanics found that everything north of eyesight was bolted on, rear shocks maxed out for the lift, only the stickers and armor were Rough Country. Paid for repairs and proper complete kit, called Friesen and was told the most they could do was help with labor because "We don't specialize in lifted trucks". Ya'll were sure confident when you sold it, though. Since then, I'm just under $10k in repairs, most everything under the body is failing. Every mechanic that's looked at it has said the same thing: everything wrong has been going wrong for years. At less miles than my original Canyon, it's got 10x the wear. Worst experience I've ever had. I'll never buy anything in Nebraska except enough food and fuel to get through the state, and I sure as hell won't spend a dollar near Friesen. Regretfully, Covid has kept my staffing short ever since my purchase and I've worked too much to take them to task with the BBB in time. If you don't have time to take whatever vehicle you're considering from them to an independent mechanic, save your wallet and...
Read moreReview update - decided to change the cabin air filter since we have had the vehicle for almost a year, pull it out and the filter installed by Friesen was installed upside down. The air flow arrow should point towards the floor but it was pointed towards the roof. Recently purchased a used vehicle from Friesen Chevrolet and overall the experience was pretty easy and smooth. What I didn't like was that for some reason the center console liner had to be replaced and they installed one from the wrong year vehicle which does not make sense since they could have called the Friesen Chrysler dealership and figured out what the correct parts was. You could easily tell it was not correct. Also the tires were replaced with less than 16,000 miles on them and the answer they gave to why they replaced them was just a flat out lie and they never stated the true reason why they replaced the tires. They didn't go down the route of installing the cheapest possible tires which I appreciate. They did not clean the vehicle after the previous owner, guess they don't detail vehicles before...
