We bought a beautiful Amish king size bedframe almost 4 years ago. All of a sudden, one of the posts attached to the slats under the bed fell out. After a heated discussion with Jerry, he explained that we put the bed together the wrong way. We were never told that there was a top or bottom to the slats. Surfice it to say after this discussion we took the bed apart and realized that we had to reorient the slats. We were able to fix it ourselves with a couple of newly purchased pieces. However, we should have been given a picture and/or written directions and a warning about how to put the bed together in the first place. Also, Jerry said the bed should never be moved without removing the mattress and box spring (which are very heavy and we can't move them on our own).
