Owen Pool — Local services in Swannanoa

Nice sized pool. Lifeguards on duty is a plus. Was disappointed that they only have 6 lounge chairs for that big area. The first few people in the door at opening took them, and that left others to lay on the concrete or grass areas around the pool. They had a couple of tables with 2 chairs to sit at. Two tented canopies in the grass. Then, only about 4-5 chairs. Need more lounge chairs or tables to accommodate elderly people or others who can not lay on the hard ground. They do not welcome floats or interludes due to the possibility of a child getting stuck under one, and lifeguards wouldn't be able...

We have been going to this pool for years now and yesterday was the first time we have had a problem at this pool I don't know if they got new lifeguards or not but one lifeguard was giving my 6 year old son a evil look and kept on watching him the whole time and I don't know if she is racist or what. Then after they trade spots on the lifeguard stand she walks up to me and said people has been complaining on your son and if he doesn't stop then we are going to have to walk him out and I didn't see anyone walk up to her or...

I go to this pool faithfully since I can remember! And it’s crazy this summer has really not been nice at all! I don’t think I’ll be going back for a while…. Not only did we get turned around today cause there weren’t enough life guards… they could only let one of us in smh….. so we went to black mountain instead… but my niece and nephew and mother were there already for 5 mins inside waiting for me and they wouldn’t give her a refund cause the family couldn’t All swim together … they need to clean up these kids that...
