K & S Auto — Local services in Swatara Township

I recently purchased a 2010 Jetta Sportwagen from this establishment and would recommend K & S Auto in Jonestown, PA to anyone in search of a legitimate vehicle from a trustworthy dealer.

Starting out, I went to go look at the vehicle, which I saw listed on CarGurus. Before the visit, I called K & S to make sure that they would be around later in the evening to see the car, which was no problem. After the test drive, I was very interested in this beautiful wagon and Ken was more than willing to answer any questions or concerns about the Jetta.

A few weeks later, I ended up buying the Sportwagen. While within the warranty period (30 days), both Ken and Sam were very responsive to the two issues I experienced (dead battery - this was the original, factory battery of 7 years - replaced...and a cracked filter housing - replaced). These issues (let's face it, any car will give you a problem or two) were solved by K & S without headache and with accommodation to my schedule.

If you've read this review to this point, I will say that, overall, I am extremely pleased with the service and expertise provided by these guys. Never once did I feel pressured to buy any vehicle on the lot, but when the time did come, I didn't feel ripped-off or cheated. Above and beyond their awesome service, K & S Auto has a quality inventory to suit a variety of styles, needs, and budget. Definitely the best experience that I've ever had with a dealer and would recommend to any friend or family...

Bought a car from K&S that I've had for only about a year, but put less than 10K miles on it. It was a Volkswagon Jetta and when I had it towed to the Wolfes VW, they said they contacted K&S and he admitted he no longer sold these vehicles because of the problems he had. The timing chain jumped and what I paid $6200 from him now will cost about the same to get running again. I contacted K&S about this, and even though there may be no legal obligation, there should be some kind of effort to give us some help. We maintained the vehicle and it's a shame we pay the KBB price for a vehicle that dies 10K miles later. I contacted and left messages on their v/m but they never made an effort to at least call me back. I will never endorse this garage or buying a vehicle. They are just as bad as anyone else - all about the buck, and very little about doing business...

I've been taking my vehicles here on and off for years. Quite a few family members also go to them. The guys are so nice and honest. They try their best to work with your schedule so you're not sitting and waiting forever! I've even dropped my vehicle off the night before and they do a pretty good job keeping in touch. Calling to tell me what work will need done. Asking permission to do the work before hand. They're reasonably priced as well. I have definitely recommended...
